ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION
1. Qualifying Examination and Minimum Marks Candidates who are applying for B.V.Sc. & A.H./B.F.Sc./ B.Tech. (Food Processing Technology)/ B.Tech. (Poultry Production Technology) degree courses should have passed HSC (10+2) / CBSE / other examinations recognized as equivalent thereto with the marks as prescribed below:

(a) For B.V.Sc. & A.H. / B.F.Sc. degree course:


(i) ACADEMIC STREAM
(In the Order of Subjects studied in HSC/ equivalent course Eligible minimum marks (%) OC BC MBC/DNC SC/ST)

(ii) VOCATIONAL STREAM

Vocational stream candidates will be considered in B.V.Sc. & A.H. and B.F.Sc. degree courses only against the seats reserved for them.

(b) For B.Tech.(Food Processing Technology) degree course:

The maximum number of attempts made in passing the qualifying examination is limited to three for SC/ST candidates and two for others.
The improvement marks in HSC Examination of any year will not be considered for admission.

2. Age Limit
Candidates should not have completed the age indicated below as on 01.07.2011.
Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe (SC / ST) : No age limit
Others : 21 Years
No relaxation of age limit is permissible on any grounds.

II. MODE OF SELECTION
Candidates will be selected based on their performance in the HSC/equivalent examination as per the Government Orders.

III. APPLICATION FORMS
Separate application form should be used for B.V.Sc. & A.H., B.F.Sc., B.Tech. (Food Processing Technology) and B.Tech.(Poultry Production Technology) degree courses.

Request letter for application forms should contain the name of the candidate and the course for which the application (B.V.Sc. & A.H. / B.F.Sc. / B.Tech. - Food Processing Technology / B.Tech. - Poultry Production Technology) is required.

■IIIT Hyderabad is NOT participating in MULTIPLE ROUNDS of allotment in AIEEE Central Counseling.

UG Direct Admissions for Srtudents of Abroad (DASA - 2011) (Stipulated no. of seats 20) (1a) Applicants should have studied 11th and 12th or equivalent abroad
(or)
(1b) Must be a foreign passport holder.
(2)(I) a minimum of 2000 SAT Subject Score (Physics+Chemistry+Mathematics II) [earlier known as SAT-II]
(or)
(II) SAT score in maths /aptitude of at least 90 percentile, and SAT score in reading /writing of at least 85 Percentile.
(3) It is recommended that they take AP Calculus course, AP Physics or AP Chemistry course.
(4) Applicants should have completed 12th (or) equivalent in 2010 or 2011
(5) SAT score should be of 2010 or 2011.
